You have 3 days to return your purchase from the date of delivery or collection. All items should be unused and returned in the original packaging. We’ll refund the item/s in the same way you paid, less applicable delivery charges.
How to return?
The procedure of returning and exchange of goods you must report it to our customer care line at 0832278337 or info@cariaansjuwele.co.za and at our contact us page with the correct reason as well as evidence. If the reason and evidence is applicable to the return policies, after the assessments the necessary refund steps will be implemented .
Return to store: Return to the shop at Hartswater
Return via courier: Please contact us on our customer care line and we will arrange a free collection within 3 to 5 working days. Ensure the return is packaged in a box to protect the items during transit. Once the items have been received and assessed at our DC your refund will be generated.
Return via Pudo: If you collected your order from a Pudo pick-up point, you can return those items to the same point and the return will follow our courier process. Please make sure your items are packaged in a box to protect them during transit and please make sure the parcel is scanned in at the pick-up point.
Exceptions
Excluded Products: For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of, earrings or any other jewellery used for piercings. You will not be entitled to a refund or exchange of
– Special order items – this means we have specially ordered the item for you and it falls outside of the standard description noted on the website.
– Custom made items
– Personal name chains
– Resized or altered items

Refunds and exchanges are subject to an assessment by our quality assurance team.
Christmas Returns Policy – during the Christmas period our 30-day standard returns policy is extended for products purchased between 1 December and 1 January.
You may return the goods at no additional charge with the invoice, delivery note or returns form. You can also contact our Customer Services at 0832278337 and on the contact us page and we will arrange for a courier to collect the goods within 3-10 working days. If you are returning goods via courier, you will have to complete the returns form, specifying the reason why you are returning the goods. You must also pack the goods into the original packaging. If you are returning goods that are not defective via courier, you will be charged a collection fee.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason (other than if it is defective) and wish to return it, you must inform us immediately at our customer care line 0832278337 or info@cariaansjuwele.co.za and our contact us page, may do so within 3 working days of the date that it is delivered to you or collected by you. The goods must be unused, in its original condition and (where applicable) packaging and you must have the invoice, the delivery note or returns form, original certificate, instructions and unused accessories. If you received the goods as a gift, the delivery note or returns form is still required. For hygiene reasons we do not accept return earrings or any other jewellery used for piercings. You will also not be entitled to a refund or exchange of gift cards, special order goods or goods that have been personalised, resized, engraved, altered repaired or updated.
If you purchased the goods yourself and meet all the refund requirements, you will receive a full refund, minus delivery charges (if applicable). If you received the goods as a gift, or if you do not have the invoice, we may use our discretion to allow you to exchange the goods for goods of the same value (you will not receive the balance if you exchange the goods for other goods of a lower value), or for a gift card at current price, minus any current promotional discount. We will do the refund via EFT and requires confirmation of account holders banking details. The payment will be made after the return product(s) at the distribution centre, as well as the assessment has been done. The payment will be visible in your account within 5 to 7 working days.
Faulty Goods
If goods are faulty or defective and do not have a specific warranty or guarantee, you may return them within 3 days from the date of collection, provided that the goods have been used for their intended purpose and they have been cared for according to any instructions that accompanied the goods.

If the reason and evidence is applicable to the return policies the necessary refund steps will be implemented .
We may in certain instances require an assessment of the goods and require you to pay us an assessment fee before we do an assessment. If, after we have assessed the goods, we find that the goods are defective or that there are quality issues, we will refund your assessment fee and either repair the goods, replace the goods or refund you the value of the goods in the same way that you paid for the goods. However, if we discover in our assessment that:
1 . That the original defect on the original complaint to our customer care line do not correspond with the defect on the product
2 . That the jewellery care guide is not properly taken care of
3 . That the product is not in the original packaging
4 . That the defect is due to wear and tear
the goods are not defective or not affected by quality issues,
we will refuse to refund you or accept return of these goods.
Exchange
We know that jugging the size or length could be difficult , if you wish to exchange the product for the correct size or length you must let us know at our customer care line and at our contact us page so that we can see if the required stock is available. If available the correct size or length will be sent to you with a additional charge . If the stock is not available you can exchange it for something is of the same value . We can also do the resizing at our repair page that we can assist you.
Incorrect items delivered
Should we accidentally deliver the wrong goods to you, or if the goods are not as described on our website or the goods are missing any parts:
- Please do not remove any of the stickers or labels, or remove the goods from its original packaging.
- Notify us immediately on our customer care line at 0832278337 or info@cariaansjuwele.co.za and at our contact us page and we will try to resolve the fault on our side
- If not satisfied with the resolve methods we will collect the product and refund you in full (as originally paid) according to the steps of our refund policies .
For returns and exchanges of goods purchased from any of our third party providers, please note that the specific third party provider’s terms and conditions will apply, so please refer to their website or contact our Customer Services at 0832278337 for more information.
The diamonds in jewellery sold by us do not fund violence. We support the Kimberley Process, which is an international process that ensures trade in diamonds does not fund violence.
